Soulful Living

Uplift Yourself!

According to the WebMD an estimated 19 million American adults are living with depression.  Approximately 80% of people who get treated for depression say that it has helped them.   Depression is a medical condition like diabetes or high blood pressure and should be treated and not ignored.  30% of women are depressed and 92% of African American males do not seek any treatment.  Why is that?  Maybe because we do not believe that depression is a “real” disease.
